We are a small, trusted local team led by Josh, looking after the pets of Arlington and Northern Virginia as if they were our own.
The Pooch Pals started in 2012 with a simple idea: that busy owners deserve someone they can genuinely trust with their dog, not a rotating stranger from an app.
Since then we have grown into a small, dependable team, led by owner and trainer Josh, caring for dogs and cats across Arlington every day. Our walkers, among them Barbara, Jordan and Raymond, are background checked, insured and genuinely in it for the animals. It shows in the reviews our clients leave, and in the dogs who pull toward the door when they see us coming.
The same familiar face wherever we can, a GPS tracked route on every walk, and honest, reliable care. We are licensed, bonded & insured, and we never take on more than we can look after properly.
Everything starts with a free meet and greet, so you and your pet can meet your carer before anything is booked. There are no long contracts. You book the walks, visits, overnights, training or pet taxi runs you actually need, and we fit around your life.
